Caregiver Wellness Circle – Because You Matter Too!

Caregiver Wellness Circle takes place every Wednesday morning:

September 16th – November 18th, 10:00 – 11:15 am

The Caregiver Wellness Circle is a weekly experiential gathering designed to help caregivers reduce stress, build resilience, and rediscover balance through guided conversations, practical tools, mindfulness, and meaningful interactions with horses.

If you’re a caregiver, you may have found yourself thinking…

“I don’t remember the last time I did something just for me.”
“I feel guilty whenever I take time for myself.”
“No one really understands what this is like.”
“I love the person I’m caring for, but I’m losing myself.”

You give so much of yourself; it’s ok to take care of yourself too!

Mending Stride’s Caregiver Wellness Circle is not a traditional support group. It isn’t just a place to talk, but a place to breathe, reflect and reconnect with yourself. Partnering with our horse’s creates a rare opportunity where you don’t have to…

  • Be the strong one
  • Solve everyone’s problems
  • Have all the answers
  • Put on a brave face

You can simply be present.

Each week offers a different theme, including:

  • Managing stress and preventing burnout
  • Processing difficult emotions
  • Finding calm through mindfulness and horses
  • Setting healthy boundaries
  • Learning to ask for help
  • Rediscovering hope and purpose

Attend one session or come regularly—each experience stands on its own.

What to Expect

  • No horse experience is needed.
  • Every session is different and can be attended independently.
  • Come as often—or as occasionally—as you need.
  • Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes.
  • Leave feeling calmer, more connected, and reminded that you matter, too.
  • This is not a riding opportunity so there is no pressure
  • Sessions limited to eight participants

Suggested Caregiver Contribution: $15

No one should miss a session because of financial hardship. If the contribution is a barrier, please contact us.

Caregiver Wellness Circle – Because You Matter Too!

Horses have an extraordinary way of inviting us to slow down, be authentic, and stay present in the moment so that we can become more aware of ourselves and practice new ways of coping in a supportive environment.
