Empowered Strides Summer Camp

This camp is designed for girls aged 10-14, to boost their confidence in exploring new activities.

This fun camp for girls 10-14 years old focuses on empowering girls to confidently try new experiences, to persevere through challenges and to be compassionate to themselves during the learning process. Campers will partner with horses in equine facilitated activities and learn skills that were once essential to farm life. (Please note this is not a riding camp).

Camp opportunities include:

  • Learning: to halter, groom, lead and care for horses.
  • Practicing training techniques: like lungeing, driving and round pen work
  • Crafts: Making paracord bracelets, sewing projects, soap and chapstick
  • Farm skills: Working with tools, Learning and using different knots
